BRENT BARRETT
Brent made his Broadway debut as ‘Tony’ in the 1980 revival of West Side Story, and other Broadway roles include ‘Frank Butler’ in the revival of Annie Get Your Gun, ‘Charles Castleton’ in Dance a Little Closer, ‘Baron Felix Von Gaigern’ in Grand Hotel and ‘Maximilian’ in Candide. He frequently reprises his role on Broadway as ‘Billy Flynn’ in Chicago, for which he received a LA Drama Critics Award. Brent opened and starred in the Las Vegas production of The Phantom of the Opera, and was nominated for an Olivier Award for his starring role in the London premiere of the Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate. On television and in film Brent was featured in The Producers, “Hercules,” “Longtime Companion,” “All My Children,” “Another World,” and “Guiding Light.”
HAROLYN BLACKWELL
Harolyn began her career on Broadway in Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story and starred in the 1997 Broadway revival of Candide. She is a critically acclaimed Soprano who has performed with many of the major national and international opera companies, and at festivals around the world, including Lyric Opera of Chicago, Glyndebourne Festival, Teatro Colon de Buenes Aires, Seattle Opera, Opera de Nice, Miami Opera, Canadian Opera Company, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Opera Orchestra of New York and New York’s Mostly Mozart Festival. She has appeared in several productions at the Metropolitan Opera, including Un Ballo in Mascara, Le Nozze di Figaro, Manon, Die Fledermaus, Werther and La Fille du Regiment. Her television appearances have included the Grammy Awards, Tony® Awards, The Kennedy Center Honors, PBS Live from Lincoln Center and PBS Fourth of July and Memorial Day Concerts.
STEPHEN BOGARDUS
Stephen Bogardus first appeared on Broadway in the 1980 revival of West Side Story, and has been seen frequently on the Great White Way ever since. He was nominated for a Tony Award® for his performance in Love! Valour! Compassion!, and other Broadway credits include ‘Grantaire’ in Les Misérables, Safe Sex, The Grapes of Wrath, King David, High Society, James Joyce’s The Dead, Man of La Mancha and Old Acquaintance. He starred as ‘Bob Wallace’ in both the Broadway and U.S. tour productions of White Christmas. He has performed extensively at a variety of regional and off-Broadway theatres and has appeared on television in “Another World,” “All My Children,” “Guiding Light,” “Cagney and Lacey,” “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Ed,” “Monk,” and “Conviction.”
SIERRA BOGGESS
Sierra can be seen as Christine Daae on The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall DVD. She also starred as Christine for the 25th Anniversary performance of The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, and in Las Vegas. On London’s West End, Sierra originated the role of Christine Daae in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies and was seen as Fantine in Les Miserables. She was also seen on Broadway as the title character in Disney’s The Little Mermaid and in the 2011 revival of Master Class. Her concert appearances include solo shows at 54 Below, BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall, Lincoln Center’s American Songbook Series, New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, and Broadway by the Year at Town Hall. Sierra is featured on the symphonic recording of Love Never Dies and the original cast album for The Little Mermaid.
ASHLEY BROWN
Ashley is best known for originating the title character in the Broadway production of the award-winning Mary Poppins. Other Broadway credits include “Belle” in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. On the road, she appeared in Disney’s On the Record and reprised the role of “Mary” in the 2009 US National Tour of Marry Poppins. Other credits include “Snow White” in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – A Symphonic Retelling at The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, “Rose” in Meet Me in St. Louis and “Maria” in The Sound of Music at The Muny, “Oona” in Limelight: The Story of Charlie Chaplin at La Jolla Playhouse, “Magnolia Hawks” in Show Boat and “Laurey Williams” in Oklahoma! at Lyric Opera of Chicago. Robert is known for his performance as the dual title characters in Jekyll & Hyde for which he received a Tony® Award nomination, a Drama Desk Award, a Fany Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and a Joseph Jefferson Award. Jennifer received a Tony® Award nomination for her performance in the critically acclaimed Broadway production Next to Normal, in which she also performed at Second Stage and Arena Stage in Washington, DC. Jennifer also starred as ‘Mary Jane’ in the original cast of the Broadway production Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark, with music/lyrics by U2. She made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Spring Awakening as the youngest cast member, at the age of 15. She started performing at the age of 10 in community theatre in Westchester, NY and began working professionally in NYC when she was 12, performing in The American Girl Revue (original cast), the role of ‘Alice’ in Inner Voices Solo Musicals Alice Unwrapped, and TV’s “Gossip Girl.”
ANDRE DE SHIELDS
André has distinguished himself as an unparalleled actor, director, choreographer and educator in a career spanning more than forty years. He is best known for his show stopping performances in the original Broadway productions of four legendary musicals: The Full Monty, for which he received Tony®, Drama Desk and Astaire Award nominations, in addition to both the Outer Critics Circle and Drama League Awards; Play On! (Tony® nomination), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Emmy Award) and The Wiz (title role). In the classical tradition, he has distinguished himself in the title role of King Lear at both the Classical Theatre of Harlem and the Folger Shakespeare Library and in the Red Bull Theater’s production of The Witch of Edmonton. His performance in Tennessee William’s Camino Real at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago was critically acclaimed by The New York Times.A native of Baltimore, Maryland, who then went to college at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, André is the recipient of the 2009 National Black Theatre Festival’s Living Legend Award and the coveted Village Voice OBIE Award for Sustained Excellence of Performance. Brandon first appeared on Broadway originating the role of ‘Harpo’ in The Color Purple, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award, and ‘Berry Gordy Jr.’ in Motown: The Musical. Other credits include: “Aaron Burr” in Hamilton (Broadway), ‘Eubie Blake’ in Shuffle Along (Broadway), and ‘Hayword Patterson’ in Scottsboro Boys (off-Broadway). Through his company, WalkRunFly Productions, he has co-produced the 2014 Broadway production of Of Mice and Men, which was nominated for a Drama Desk Award and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which won a Tony Award.

Colman, a Tony Award® nominee for The Scottsboro Boys, is also well known for his performances in the Broadway musical Passing Strange and as ‘Billy Flynn’ in the Broadway revival of Chicago. He also starred in the 2012 off-Broadway revival of Blood Knot. His autobiographical solo show A Boy and His Soul won the Lucille Lortel (Best Solo Show) and GLAAD Media Award (Best Theater Broadway or off-Broadway) and was nominated for the Drama Desk, Audelco and Drama League Awards. Cady is well known to theatre audiences for her Tony® Award winning performance as ‘Ulla’, the Swedish bombshell who made life so interesting for Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane in The Producers. She was unforgettable in her appearances on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and has been a regular judge on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” for ten years. She has done films with some of the greats including Dustin Hoffman (Hero), Chris Cooper (The Company Men), and John Turturro and Christopher Walken (Romance & Cigarettes). On television her guest starring roles include “Frasier,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Mad About You” as well as a recurring roll on “The Good Wife.” As an advocate for the arts, she has lobbied in Washington and spoken on panels at the Sundance Film Festival, and Brown and Harvard Universities.

Norm is known as a versatile performer who has been seen on Broadway, across the country and around the world. He was nominated for a 2012 Tony® Award for his performance as ‘Porgy’ in The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess opposite Audra McDonald. In 2014, Norm also became the first African American actor to play the title character in The Phantom of the Opera. Lesli Margherita made her Broadway debut as “Mrs. Wormwood” in the original cast of Matilda The Musical. In London, she received the 2009 Laurence Olivier Award for her performance as “Inez” in Zorro the Musical on the West End. A California native, her national tour/regional credits include Kiss Me, Kate; Show Boat; Man of La Mancha; The Grönholm Method; Little Shop of Horrors; Spamalot; Grease; Aida; West Side Story; See What I Wanna See. Television/Film credits include: “Major Crimes,” “The Suite Life On Deck,” “Fame L.A.,” “NYPD Blue,” “Charmed,” “The District,” “JAG,” and “On The Lot.” Leslie has also lent her voice to several animated films and TV shows, including Disney’s “Cinderella 3” and Nickelodeon’s “Spongebob Squarepants.” Lesli’s critically acclaimed nightclub act All Hail the Queen continues to play to crowds in New York and Las Angeles.

Constantine received Tony® and Drama League Award nominations for the lead role of ‘Drew’ in Broadway’s Rock of Ages, a role he played for three years. He made his Broadway debut in Tony® nominated The Wedding Singer. He is well remembered as a finalist on the fourth season of “American Idol.” In 2012, he portrayed the title role in The Toxic Avenger at The Alley Theatre in Houston. Constantine played ‘Roger Davis’ in the national tour of Rent and co-starred in the critically acclaimed Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris off-Broadway. He is a series regular on the CBS’s “The Bold and The Beautiful,” which featured original songs from his debut album “Constantine.” Other television appearances include “Law & Order,” “The Tonight Show,” “America’s Got Talent,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “Conan,” “Ellen,” and “Regis & Kelly”. In 2011, he was presented with both The Gabby Award and The Elios Award, which recognizes the excellence Greek Americans have achieved. Constantine appears in the feature film, Rock of Ages starring Tom Cruise. Across the country and on Broadway he will headline in the brand-new Jekyll & Hyde. Constantine graduated from the Boston Conservatory and apprenticed at The Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Karen is well known for her work on Broadway and beyond. She originated the role of ‘The Queen of Hearts’ in Frank Wildhorn’s Wonderland and of ‘Tanya’ in the original Broadway company of ABBA’s Mamma Mia!, for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Supporting Actress. In NY and LA, she was the Standby for the role of ‘Norma Desmond’ in Sunset Boulevard; and was ‘Velma von Tussel’ in the closing Broadway company of Hairspray. She’s slated to return once again to the Great White Way as ‘Mrs. Danvers’ in Rebecca. Her television appearances include the hit dramas “Ed” and “Law & Order: SVU,” and film credits include Sleeping Dogs Lie and A Chorus Line. A world-class concert performer, she has shared concert stages with such luminaries as Luciano Pavarotti, Rosemary Clooney, Liza Minnelli, Michael Feinstein, Jerry Herman, and John Kander and Fred Ebb. John is a Grammy and Emmy award-winning music director. On television he was seen and heard as the bandleader on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” (2 Emmy Awards). Other TV credits include “Friar’s Roasts” ’99-’02, “Tony® Awards” ’97-’00 as arranger, “A Rosie Christmas” (ABC), and “A Family is a Family” (HBO). His Broadway credits include Bonnie & Clyde (Drama Desk Nominated Orchestrator), Catch Me If You Can, Brooklyn (also Producer and Orchestrator), Annie Get Your Gun, Taboo, Chicago, Grease, and Patti LuPone on Broadway. Audra is a six-time Tony® Award winner for her performances in Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime, A Raisin in the Sun, and for her starring role in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess and Lady Day. She is currently the most decorated actress in Tony Award history. She has also appeared on Broadway in The Secret Garden, Marie Christine (Tony Nom.), Henry IV and 110 in the Shade (Tony nom.). The Juilliard-trained soprano’s opera credits include La Voix Humaine and Send (who are you? I love you) at the Houston Grand Opera and Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny at L.A. Opera. On television, for the past four seasons she has played ‘Dr. Naomi Bennett’ on ABC’s “Private Practice” and received Emmy nominations for “A Raisin in the Sun,” and “Wit.” Other TV credits include “Homicide: Life on the Street,” “Law and Order: SVU,” “Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years,” “The Bedford Diaries,” “Kidnapped” and the 1999 remake of “Annie.” On film she appeared in She Got Problems, The Best Thief in the World, It Runs in the Family, The Object of my Affection, Seven Servants and Rampart. Michael is a Broadway veteran and a Tony® award winner, for his role as ‘Cookie McGee’ in Nice Work If You Can Get It. A 2010 Tony® and Drama Desk Nominee for her performance in the acclaimed Kennedy Center revival of Ragtime, Christiane made her Broadway debut in the role of ‘Emma’ in Jekyll & Hyde. Christiane has toured extensively as ‘Sandy’ in the Tommy Tune production of Grease, as ‘Ellen’ in Miss Saigon and as ‘Mallory’ in City of Angels. Laura, the star of Broadway’s Cinderella, made her Broadway debut as “Sandy” in the most recent Broadway revival of Grease, having won the role and the hearts of America on NBC’s reality competition “Grease: You’re The One That I Want.” She was a 2012 Tony nominee (Best Leading Actress in a Musical) for Frank Wildhorn’s Bonnie And Clyde on Broadway, after creating the role of “Bonnie” in the world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse and reprising the role at the Asolo Repertory Theatre. She recently appeared as “Hope Harcourt” in Anything Goes on Broadway, as “Nellie Forbush” in Lincoln Center Theatre’s production of South Pacific, and has performed regionally at the Kennedy Center as “Kim McAfee” in Broadway: Three Generations. Other favorite regional credits include “Elizabeth Bennet” in Pride and Prejudice, “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz, “Jasmine” in Disney’s Aladdin, and the title role in Peter Pan. Laura recently filmed the HBO pilot “The Miraculous Year,” directed by Kathryn Bigelow, and performed in “Sondheim: The Birthday Concert” at Avery Fisher Hall, now on DVD.

Dancer extraordinaire, Valarie received a Tony® nomination for her role in the Broadway production of Fosse. Other Broadway credits include Sophisticated Ladies (where she understudied Judith Jamison), Harold Prince’s Grind, and Bob Fosse’s Big Deal. On screen she has appeared in The Wiz (with Diana Ross), The Cotton Club (with Richard Gere and Gregory Hines), Glitter, and the hit comedy Jumping the Broom. Valarie performed alongside Chita Rivera in Chicago in the West End, and subsequently performed All That Jazz as a tribute to Rivera at the Kennedy Center Honors. She has also performed with Lucie and Desi Arnaz Jr. in the musical tribute to their father, called Babalu, and has been a regular guest soloist with the Pasadena Symphony for their annual Pops program. She is also known for her role as ‘Big Dee Dee Thorne’ on the UPN sitcom “Half & Half” and ‘Sandra Lucas’ on Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne.”

Ron has had a long and illustrious international career that spans the worlds of musical theater, opera, cabaret, classical music, and television. He most recently appeared as “Joseph Pulitzer” in Disney’s Newsies and as “Ben” in the critically-acclaimed revival of Follies at the Kennedy Center, Broadway, and Los Angeles, for which he received a Tony nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. He was a three-time Emmy and Soap Opera Digest Award nominee for his role as the villain “Alan Spaulding” on CBS’s “Guiding Light.” He has starred on Broadway in shows such as Chicago and Show Boat, and has soloed with over 50 major American and international orchestras, including the Boston Pops, the Philedelphia Pops, the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony, and the Israeli Philharmonic. Ron has also performed at Carnegie Hall, the London Palladium, and the Royal Festival Hall, and has appeared on four PBS “Great Performances” specials.

Peter is well known in film and theater. His Broadway credits include ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ in Wicked, ‘Wilber Turnblad’ in Hairspray, and ‘Michael Daly’ in Lucky Guy. Peter won his first Emmy for his role as ‘Tad Horvath’, the father of Hannah Horvath on the hit HBO TV show Girls. Additionally, Peter can also be seen as ‘Michael Harris’ in Newhart for which he received an Emmy nomination, and as the voice of ‘Lonely Boy’ in the holiday film The Polar Express.
TAMARA TUNIE
Tamara starred on Broadway with Denzel Washington in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Before that she shared the stage with Lena Horne in the legendary musical Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music, and starred in David Merrick’s revival of Oh Kay! with Brian Stokes Mitchell. Tamara toured Europe with Bubblin’ Brown Sugar and played Maggie in the first all-African American production of Tennessee Williams’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Additionally Tamara has begun producing on Broadway, helping to bring the Tony® Award winning musical Spring Awakening to the stage, as well as August Wilson’s Radio Golf and Eric Simonson’s Magic/Bird. She is well recognized for her roles as attorney ‘Jessica Griffin’ on the popular soap “As the World Turns,” and as ‘Medical Examiner Melinda Warner’ on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” a role she’s played for 12 years. From 2000 to 2007, she appeared in both shows simultaneously. She has also made guest appearances on “24,” “Sex and the City,” and “NYPD Blues.”
LESLIE UGGAMS
Leslie began her esteemed show biz career at the age of 6 portraying Ethel Waters’s niece on the TV series Beulah. At the age of 9, she performed at the legendary Apollo Theater, opening for such musical legends as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Washington. As a teenager she became the first African American performer to be featured on a weekly national primetime television series, “Sing Along with Mitch”. In 1970 she hosted her own primetime variety series “The Leslie Uggams Show”. On Broadway Leslie earned a Tony® and Theater World award for her musical theater debut in Hallelujah, Baby!. Since then she has starred on Broadway in Blues in the Night, Jerry’s Girls, Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and On Golden Pond opposite James Earl Jones. 2012 Encores! audiences were treated to seeing her appear in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Pipe Dream. She is well remembered for her stirring portrayal of ‘Kizzy’ in the landmark TV mini-series Alex Haley’s Roots. An inspiration to all, Leslie performed before 300,000 people during the Memorial Day Concert on the Washington Mall which was also broadcast live by PBS to millions of viewers nationwide.
JIM WALTON
Jim was seen in the New York Philharmonic’s star-studded concert of Company, by Stephen Sondheim, playing ‘Larry’ opposite Patti LuPone. The film version played in movie theatres across the country. He has appeared in other Sondheim shows, including Sweeney Todd and Merrily We Roll Along. During auditions for the latter, Jim was asked for his age by the composer. Although he was older than the teenager the parts called for, he told Sondheim the truth. He was subsequently cast and, during previews, took over the lead role of ‘Franklin Shepard’. He has also appeared in Bye Bye Birdie, Guys & Dolls, 42nd Street, The Music Man, Stardust and Perfectly Frank, a musical revue based on the music and lyrics of Frank Loesser, in which he made his Broadway debut. With his brother Bob, he has written a number of musicals, including Mid Life! The Crisis Musical.

Tony is a true triple threat performer (singer/dancer/actor) whose Broadway credits include “Gabey” in On The Town, ‘Billy Flynn’ in Chicago, ‘Phil Davis’ in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, ‘Tulsa’ in Gypsy with Patti LuPone (Outer Critics Circle Award nomination), ‘Al’ in the revival of A Chorus Line, Never Gonna Dance, Oklahoma!, and Gypsy with Tyne Daly. He was in the feature film documentary Every Little Step and can be seen in the inaugural season of “Smash” on NBC. John Lloyd Young originated the role of ‘Frankie Valli’ in Broadway’s Tony® Award winning Jersey Boys, for which he too won a Tony® Award. He went on to also win the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Awards, becoming the only American actor in history to win all four leading actor awards for a Broadway debut. Now a resident of Los Angeles, John played to sold-out crowds of over 17,000 as Marius in Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl and was the first-ever guest star to appear on “Glee”. Before his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys, John was in The Drawer Boy with Frasier’s John Mahoney. He also appeared in Chaim Potok’s adaptation of The Chosen opposite Theodore Bikel. TV appearances include “Late Show with David Letterman,” “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “Celebrity Jeopardy.” John is a frequent guest on NBC’s “Today Show,” including Katie Couric’s farewell.
